Q. Do we need reservations for the tours?

A. We do recommend reservations for all of our tours, but we can usually accommodate you if you walk in as well.

Q. How soon do we need to be there prior to our tour?

A. We recommend that you arrive about 15 minutes prior for check-in.

Q. Where do your tours depart from?

A. All of our jeep tours depart from our reservation office at 252N Hwy 89A in uptown Sedona. We are located directly next door to Orchard’s Restaurant. It takes approximately 5 -15 minutes to get to any of the jeep trailheads.

Q. When do tours depart?

A. Jeep tours depart daily from 8:00 am through sunset (this time varies throughout the year). Horseback rides depart daily at 7:00 am, 9:00 am, and 1:00pm.

Q. What days do your tours run?

A. Our tours run 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and have reduced hours on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Q. How many people can ride in a jeep?

A. Our jeeps can accommodate up to 7 people. We do reserve the right to combine parties on tours.

Q. What is the age cutoff for children’s prices?

A. Children prices are good for kids 12 and under.

Q. How old does my child have to be to do a jeep tour?

A. We take children as young as 18 months on jeep tours.

Q. How old does my child have to be to do a horseback rides?

A. Children must be at least 6yrs old to do a horseback ride.

Q. Do you allow children under 6 rides with an adult on horseback?

A. For safety reasons we do not allow children to double up with an adult on horseback. We can provide FREE 15 minute pony rides for children 3 and up if there are other guests in the party doing the horseback rides.

Q. Do you have seat belts on your jeep tours?

A. Everyone taking a jeep tour must be in a seatbelt, and children 5 and under are provided a booster seat/ 5 point harness seat free of charge.

Q. Are your tours safe?

A. Yes, all of our jeep tours are safe. Even if you do an extreme 4x4 trail, it is taken slowly, because safety is our #1 priority.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. We have a 24hr cancellation policy—which means that you have up to 24hrs prior to your departure time to cancel without incurring any charges. We do charge 50% of the full tour price if you cancel less then 24hrs out, or don’t call or show up at all for your tour.

Q. What should we bring on our tour?

A. We recommend bringing water (no glass), cameras, sunscreen sunglasses and hats.

Q. What should we wear on our tour?

A. For horseback rides you are required to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. If you are doing a jeep tour, we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothes; we DON’T recommend wearing Sunday’s best since the trails can be dusty.

Q. Can I go on a jeep or horseback tour if I am pregnant?

A. We do not take anyone who is pregnant on jeep or horseback tours, since the trails can be bumpy.

Q. Can I do a jeep or horseback ride if I have a bad back/neck?

A. We do not recommend tours for anyone who has had recent (within the last 2 yrs) back or neck surgery, or has had any severe injuries.

Q. Can I bring my dog on tour?

A. We are a dog friendly company. We do allow Fido to travel with you provided other guests on your tour do not mind. It is free if he is a lap dog. If you are bringing a larger dog over 20lbs, we do charge a child’s price.

Q. Can we do a private tour?

A. We can offer any of the tours as a private tour with just your group. Call for pricing and availability.
