Sedona Horseback Riding ~ Horseback Ride Only

Travel by air-conditioned van out to the stables, where you’ll enjoy a 1.5 hour ride along the banks of the Verde River. Ride in the shade of huge Cottonwood and Sycamore trees, and then cool off as your guide leads you through the river a number of times. Take in views of Mingus Mountain, Jerome and Tuzigoot National Monument.   

Approximately 3 to3.5 hours (including transportation and saddle time)

Note: Children must be at least age 6 to ride. No experience is necessary as this is a walking trail ride. For safety reasons we do NOT allow doubling up on horseback.

Complete Western Experience - Lunch

Begin this experience with a 2 hour jeep tour on the Lil Rattler trail. This jeep trail combines fun four-wheeling with an exploration of some milder areas. Then head on out to the stables, where you will enjoy a 1.5 hour horseback ride along the banks of the Verde River. Relax as you ride under big Cottonwood and Sycamore trees, and then cross the river on horseback. Follow it up with a picnic lunch. (The lunch includes a sandwich of your choice, chips, cookies and drinks.)

This tour departs daily from Sedona at 8:30 a.m.
Approximately 6 hours long (including all transportation).

Complete Western Experience - Dinner

This tour starts off on the Lil Rattler jeep trail for a 2 hour ride. The trail boasts gorgeous views of the western canyons, and you’ll enjoy the combination of mild and wild four-wheeling as you navigate over the rocks. Then head out to the stables where you’ll ride on a 1.5 hour horseback ride along the banks of the Verde River. This ride is sure to keep you cool as you make your way on horseback under giant Sycamore and Cottonwood trees. After your ride, bring your appetite and your sense of humor as you head over to our western dinner and show. This show will keep you in stitches! Dinner menu as follows…

ALL YOU CAN EAT
- Sliced Beef or Chicken Breast (simmered in BBQ sauce)

- Cowboy Beans
- Cow Slaw (that's cole slaw with a little barnyard humor) 

- Homemade Biscuits with Butter and Honey
